Reprise

From the darkness, a star is born
It meddles with the sky all alone
Before long, its kindreds appear
A dazzling display from the cosmic pier

Molten obsidian soon flows into blue
The deepest of shades, a royal hue
The greeting of twilight, a somber hello
Whispered to the reflection of the ocean below

As yellow dusts the sky, Orion takes his leave
The nature of daylight offers its sweet reprieve
Daybreak and night, in a schoolyard chase
Two lovers, to one another, give way

A dreamy pink ascends the soft sages
Primordial paint palette, a color for the ages
Silky sand melts into sea foam green
Revere the goddess of the ocean, sunlit queen
